Tour Description

Day 1

Arrival in Puerto Iguazú

Once you land at the Puerto Iguazú airport or arrive at the bus terminal, you will be greeted and transferred to your centrally-located hotel.

The rest of the day is yours to enjoy as you wish.

Day 2

Argentine Side of the Falls + Great Adventure

Begin your day with breakfast at your hotel before embarking on a 9-hour tour of the Argentine side of Iguazú National Park.

You'll have the chance to explore the Argentine side of the Iguazú Falls through three distinct areas:

Devil's Throat: Start with a scenic train ride that covers 4 km, bringing you to the top of the Iguazú River. From there, walk along elevated pathways leading to a stunning vantage point over Devil's Throat.

Upper Circuit: A 500-meter ascent (approximately 45 minutes) provides breathtaking views of the Dos Hermanos, Bossetti, Adán y Eva, Bernabé Mendez, Mbiguá, and San Martin falls from above. Choose between rappelling down or taking a 4x4 vehicle to the base of the falls.

Lower Circuit: Guided by a professional, you can trek about 1,300 meters over roughly 1.5 hours to witness the lower section of the falls. This tour includes transfers to the Visitor Center of Iguazú National Park, where you can catch the train back to Devil's Throat. Note: Admission not included.

During your visit, enjoy lunch at one of the park's eateries, or bring a picnic from Puerto Iguazú to savor outdoors.

In the afternoon, board 4x4 all-terrain vehicles for a 12 km journey through the missionary jungle, where you'll discover the diverse flora and fauna.

Upon arrival at Puerto Macuco, embark on zodiac boats for a thrilling 12 km ride through the lower Iguazú rapids, entering the Devil's Throat canyon.

Continue to the San Martín and Tres Mosqueteros Falls for a refreshing "shower" at the Falls. Disembark in front of San Martín Island.

All boats are equipped with life jackets and adhere to the National Prefecture's safety regulations.

After this exhilarating experience, expect a return to Puerto Iguazú in about one hour and 45 minutes.

Day 3

Brazilian Side of the Falls

Embark on a half-day tour to the Brazilian side of the Iguazú Falls within Iguazú National Park. After breakfast, a half-hour bus journey will take you across the river to the park.

Enjoy a one-hour walk along a 1000-meter trail from the Hotel Das Cataratas, leading to an impressive viewpoint of Devil's Throat, where the majority of the falls' water cascades. At 80 meters, Devil's Throat is the tallest single waterfall and a must-see attraction.

For lunch, choose between dining at a park restaurant or having a scenic picnic with your own packed meal. Alternatively, wait until you're back in Puerto Iguazú for a meal.

Return to Puerto Iguazú early in the afternoon, with the rest of the day and evening free.

Take advantage of this day to explore the city independently or partake in any remaining excursions.

Farewell to Puerto Iguazú

To fully enjoy it, wear comfortable, non-slip shoes, lightweight, quick-drying clothing, a swimsuit, a small towel, a hat, sunglasses with a secure fit, sunscreen, insect repellent, and a reusable water bottle. Be prepared to get wet on the boat ride; use waterproof bags to protect your cell phone and camera. This activity is not recommended for pregnant women or people with heart conditions, spinal problems, recent surgeries, or other medical restrictions. Life jackets are mandatory. Iguazu Falls can be visited year-round. From November to March, the subtropical climate is hot and humid, with higher water levels: the experience is breathtaking, but there is more rain and more visitors. April–June offers mild temperatures and fewer crowds, ideal for photography and hiking. July is peak season due to winter holidays. August–October is usually pleasant, with good visibility and fewer visitors. Walkways and the boat tour can be affected by flooding or thunderstorms; in such cases, it will be rescheduled. Recommendation: book in advance for holidays and long weekends, and start early to avoid the hottest hours.

The price of the adventure tour varies depending on the season, availability, and type of transportation. Entrance to Iguazu National Park is generally paid separately and may have different rates (nationals, Mercosur citizens, foreigners, and children). A municipal environmental tax may apply. Transfers from Foz do Iguaçu are usually offered at an additional cost and require valid immigration documents.
