Some nationalities require a visa or electronic authorization; check with the consulate before booking the tour. Minors traveling without both parents require notarized permission. Bring the original document (not photos). Health requirements may change; yellow fever vaccination is recommended by health organizations, although not always mandatory. The tour guide will assist you at the border crossing, but the traveler is responsible for obtaining the necessary documentation.
