Descripción del Tour:
In the early morning hours, we will depart from our chosen hotels, setting off on National Route 101—a well-traveled road frequented by settlers, tourists, and locals visiting their families. Our journey takes us to the Gendarmerie post, where our adventure truly begins.
We'll gear up and ready our Scott bicycles for the 10 km dirt road ahead, which presents potential challenges such as puddles, mud, stones, and steep inclines. We embark on a 2 km ride along the route before entering the trail within the jungle, pedaling an additional 3 km to reach the Iguazú River's edge. Depending on our fitness levels, we can extend our ride to further explore this breathtakingly wild and less-trodden landscape.
Throughout our journey, we'll pause for interpretive stops, offering opportunities to spot small mammals, birds, and butterflies. Enhancing our chances of encountering these creatures is one of our primary goals. This pristine environment provides the perfect setting to learn about the jungle's ecosystem and the importance of its conservation.
After our break, we will make our way back to our selected hotels in Puerto Iguazú.
